The 17th International Automotive Powertrain Technology Conference (TMC2025), held on June 12¨C13 at the Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center, concluded successfully. Organized by the China Society of Automotive Engineers and the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology, with support from Zhongqi Hansi Management Consulting, the event brought together global scholars, industry leaders, and experts from major automakers and component suppliers. TMC2025 featured technical seminars, exhibitions, industry matchmaking, and collaborative platforms, exploring new technologies and trends in automotive powertrains.

  • Reach: Over 820,000 online and offline engagements, with a peak of 120,000 live viewers and 800,000+ cumulative live stream views.
  • Program: Five parallel sessions/forums, 110 keynote speeches, two high-level interactive forums, and three closed-door discussions on critical issues, featuring dialogues with automaker executives and core technology insights from component firms.
  • Attendance: Over 2,750 industry experts, automaker representatives, component company decision-makers, researchers, and academic/policy leaders attended in person.
  • Exhibition: Nearly 180 domestic and international exhibitors showcased products spanning electric drive assemblies, hybrid systems, motors, power semiconductors, commercial vehicle powertrains, materials, fluids, development tools, and software.

New Product Launch Platform

The new product launch zone served as a global stage for companies to unveil strategic innovations. This platform highlighted disruptive technologies poised to reshape the industry over the next 3¨C5 years, acting as a catalyst for transformation.

Commercial Vehicle Powertrain Initiative

On June 12, a collaborative platform for commercial vehicle powertrains was launched, initiated by leading firms including Zhengzhou Zhiqu Technology, Shanghai Pangu Power Technology, Shaanxi Hande Axle, Jiangsu Huayong Composite Materials, Tebaijia Power Technology, and Wuxi Xingqu Technology. This global, open platform aims to break down technical barriers, shifting the industry from isolated efforts to unified collaboration, driving collective solutions to industry challenges.

Innovation Technology Awards

The TMC2025 Innovation Technology Awards, conducted with fairness and inclusivity, evaluated 58 technologies and products from 58 exhibiting companies. Voting by 609 on-site experts, attendees, and media representatives resulted in the selection of the top 13 innovations, recognizing groundbreaking contributions to the automotive powertrain sector.
