High-Performance Audio for Evolving Entertainment Needs
As social interactions diversify and lifestyles accelerate, the demand for high-quality audio continues to rise. From in-person karaoke at parties to online virtual entertainment, audio equipment has become a key growth driver in the broader culture and entertainment sector.
In response to these evolving demands, Actions Technology has launched the ATS288X, a new-generation single-chip AI-Party Speaker solution. Building on the company¡¯s technical legacy, the ATS288X delivers significant advancements in audio quality and latency, enabling the development of high-performance consumer audio devices while redefining the listening experience through immersive sound fidelity.
Studio-Grade Fidelity with Proprietary AI Audio Algorithms
The ATS288X excels in audio performance with four-channel ADCs achieving an SNR of 110 dB and three-channel DACs reaching 113 dB SNR. Featuring a full 24-bit audio signal path and noise floor below 4 ¦ÌV, the chip ensures precise signal capture and conversion with minimal noise interference.
Integrating advanced acoustics and proprietary AI algorithms, the chip optimizes both speaker and microphone output. Its powerful processing capabilities produce crisp highs and robust lows, enhancing clarity and dynamic range for a more immersive, lifelike audio experience.
End-to-End Low Latency for Seamless AV Synchronization
Latency is a critical factor in scenarios such as karaoke and real-time interaction. To address this, the ATS288X uses co-optimized hardware architecture and firmware algorithms to minimize end-to-end latency.
Internally, the chip reduces audio latency to under 5 ms, ensuring natural voice alignment during live interactions. For karaoke use cases, even when connected to wireless microphones, total latency remains below 20 ms, enabling accurate synchronization between vocals and backing tracks.
In TWS mode, latency between master and slave speakers is kept below 30 ms, maintaining tight synchronization for rich, spatial sound. These ultra-low-latency features also make the ATS288X suitable for high-precision applications like professional video production and live performances.
Robust Bluetooth? Stability and Interference Resistance
Signal stability is essential to user experience. The ATS288X supports the latest Bluetooth? dual-mode (Core 6.0) protocol, with transmit power up to 12 dBm and receive sensitivity down to -96.5 dBm. This ensures strong signal acquisition and extended transmission range, even in crowded environments with multiple devices.
Drawing on multiple generations of Bluetooth development, the chip also offers enhanced compatibility across devices, supporting smooth, reliable connections in a wide range of scenarios.
Rich Hardware & Software Ecosystem Enables Innovation
The ATS288X integrates a powerful processing unit, expanded memory, and a wide range of peripheral options, making it adaptable to various complex applications. It also supports Auracast?, opening new possibilities such as personalized audio broadcasts in public spaces, where multiple devices can receive and play synchronized content simultaneously.
In live streaming environments, the chip supports dual USB interfaces with simultaneous operation, OTG functionality, and USB drive playback. This enables flexible audio input/output and content management, allowing streamers to easily switch sources or trigger sound effects, enhancing viewer engagement.
Designed for Versatility Across Audio Applications
According to the head of the Portable Audio Division at Actions Technology, the ATS288X combines low latency, high fidelity, and a robust development ecosystem to empower customers in building distinctive, competitive audio solutions tailored to various market needs. The first batch of ATS288X-equipped devices is expected to launch soon.
