Rapoo VT350S Mouse and VH800 Headset Review

Author : Adrian October 01, 2025

Overview

As technology advances, more entry-level and mainstream products are adopting higher-performance components and technologies previously limited to high-end models. As a result, players with limited budgets can now access peripherals with contemporary designs. Rapoo's recent releases, the VT350S dual-mode gaming mouse and the VH800 dual-mode gaming headset, are examples. Details follow.

Rapoo VT350S Dual-Mode Gaming Mouse

Wireless peripherals offer freedom of movement and portability, and the arrival of low-latency wireless technologies has led to many gaming peripherals adopting these solutions to meet players' performance needs. Since introducing V+ wireless technology, Rapoo has equipped several of its recent dual-mode mice with that system. The VT350S dual-mode gaming mouse is one such product. The following sections describe its design, specifications, and real-world performance.

Specifications

  • Ergonomics: Right-handed design
  • Connectivity: Wired, wireless 2.4 GHz
  • Sensor: PAW3370
  • Programmable buttons: 11
  • Maximum resolution: 19,000 CPI
  • Tracking speed: 400 IPS
  • Color: Black
  • Backlight: RGB
  • Dimensions: 126.9 mm × 67.9 mm × 42.3 mm
  • Weight: 113 g
  • Reference price: 299 CNY

Design and Build

The VT350S is a standard right-handed gaming mouse featuring four side buttons on the left and a pronounced side wing, giving it a futuristic appearance. Its dimensions and 113 g weight place it in the mid-size category, making it suitable for most users. The front houses a USB-C power port to support wired use and the 2.4 GHz wireless connection, enabling easy switching between modes.

The underside has four large Teflon feet, which provide good glide on typical thin-surface mouse pads. There is a power switch toward the front and a recessed storage slot for the nano USB receiver at the rear. To conserve battery, only the logo on the rear lights with a rainbow RGB effect when powered on.

Performance and Features

The VT350S targets mainstream players and combines a PixArt PAW3370 optical engine with Omron 7N 50M switches. The sensor supports a sensitivity range from 50 CPI to 19,000 CPI, 400 IPS tracking, and 50G acceleration, covering the requirements of most modern games. The Omron switches provide tactile clarity and durability.

The mouse includes an 800 mAh battery and, with a Nordic low-power chipset, offers runtime between approximately 20 and 160 hours depending on usage and settings. In 2.4 GHz mode with V+ wireless technology, the mouse can reach a latency as low as 1 ms, with a transmission range up to 10 meters and three anti-interference measures to maintain a stable connection.

Rapoo provides a dedicated driver that enables customization of the 11 programmable buttons and onboard memory, as well as RGB and basic parameter adjustments, allowing users to tailor the mouse to their preferences.

Real-World Use

Given its arched back and relatively elongated body, the VT350S favors a palm grip over a claw grip. Testing included League of Legends and CS:GO. The PAW3370 sensor delivered stable tracking in League of Legends, enabling precise cursor placement during attack-move actions. Wireless operation avoids cable drag during fast movements. In CS:GO, the Omron 7N 50M switches provided crisp button feedback and the glide performance supported rapid viewpoint changes without tracking issues.

Summary

The VT350S combines a comfortable mid-size design with a PAW3370 sensor, durable Omron switches, and V+ low-latency wireless. Dual-mode connectivity, onboard memory, and configurable buttons make it suitable for mainstream gamers seeking a capable wireless mouse at a modest price point.

Rapoo VH800 Dual-Mode Gaming Headset

First-person shooter titles remain popular, and gaming headsets designed to support spatial audio awareness are an important category. Rapoo's VH800 dual-mode gaming headset emphasizes dual-mode connectivity and a dual-chamber driver enclosure intended to improve positional audio separation.

Specifications

  • Type: Over-ear gaming headset
  • Drivers: Graphene composite diaphragm, 40 mm neodymium drivers
  • Frequency response: 20 Hz–20 kHz
  • Impedance: 32 Ω
  • Microphone impedance: 2.2 kΩ
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless
  • Colors: Black and silver
  • Backlight: RGB
  • Weight: 340 g
  • Reference price: 299 CNY

Design and Comfort

The VH800 uses RGB lighting and oval earcups with an integrated headband for a clean, understated look. Materials are predominantly hard plastic, but the headband is wrapped in protein leather and embossed with the Rapoo logo. The headband interior includes memory foam padding for comfort. The earcup shells have a matte finish that scatters light, giving a layered appearance.

The outer ring of each driver housing and the logo support RGB lighting. The earcups use protein leather over memory foam that provides breathable surface contact and reasonable clamping force. The large earcup size fully encloses the ears, delivering a good seal and passive noise isolation.

Connectivity and Features

The left earcup integrates practical controls: power switch, detachable microphone port, USB-C port, backlight switch, volume control, and mode selection button. The package includes a rubber charging cable, an omnidirectional noise-reduction microphone, and a USB wireless receiver. Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless modes provide multi-device compatibility. A built-in 1,200 mAh battery yields roughly 17–46 hours of runtime depending on usage and settings.

Included accessories: detachable microphone, charging cable, nano USB receiver

Unlike conventional single-chamber designs that mix low, mid, and high frequencies in a single cavity, the VH800 uses a physical dual-chamber design that separates low-frequency output from mid/high frequencies. This separation aims to improve directional cue clarity for FPS gameplay.

Real-World Use

The graphene composite diaphragm and 40 mm neodymium drivers produce a balanced sound signature with solid low-frequency presence and clear mids. High frequencies are not overly emphasized. In music listening tests, tracks such as "渡口" and "小幸运" delivered a pleasant listening experience. In games, the headset provided comfortable, fatigue-free listening for extended sessions. In CS:GO, the dual-chamber design helped distinguish nearby footsteps from distant gunfire, aiding quicker spatial response.

Summary

The VH800 offers a simple, well-executed design with comfortable materials and RGB accents. Its driver configuration and dual-chamber enclosure aim to deliver clear three-band performance and improved positional awareness. Dual-mode connectivity increases platform compatibility and overall versatility. For users prioritizing wireless convenience and sound clarity, the VH800 presents a practical option at its price point.
