Solder mask clearance that is unexplainable in footprint editor

Solder mask footprint editor

I see a solder mask clearance for footprints in footprint editor, even though I set no mask clearance, neither in PCBnew, nor in footprint editor itself, nor locally on the pads itself. How come? What is the way to turn it off?
