Suggestions
I just had to replace the hard drive in the SC and the MC. I partitioned the MC drive and installed all operating systems.
The machine boots up and gets past "software booting", "conversion of machine data", and then hangs on "initializing machine". Does anyone know what the machine is looking for at this point? Addresses in the hosts files look good and I can ping between computers.

I think you are a genuis. The idea in your post is quite helpful and lights me. I have been puzzled for a long time in my new project.
