Resistor height

Resistor height author avatar

Greetings
Tried to search past threads without an answer. I have a resistor that just fits the between pads. Some of the resisitor were installed without the termnation sitting on the pad and are infact sitting on solder a good .020 to .025 above the pad. The solder meets the IPC for fillet height. Looked in IPC 610D for clarification height wise, but could not find any.
Does anyone out there know the industry spec. for a resistor termination not sitting on the pad but soldered above the pad?
