Problem with resistor

2017/2/2 0:04:27

I want to make a soundeasy jig using some RCA cables, to make it "plug and play". I made the probes and the everything. Problem is, I am getting bad readings.
The jig features a 10 Ohm resistor. And I attached some pics with how I made it. Problem is, if I measure the resistance at the end of the cables I get 10.7 Ohms, which is correct (factoring in the resistance of the cables).
But sometimes, if I bend the cable or measure it in a different spot (floor, table etc), i get different values, like 20+ Ohms. Why is this happening? Probably this is happening to the probes as well, but my equipment only measures till 10 kOhms.
