There is a PCB with x36 female headers laid out 6x8.
On my board the pins which are connected the board needs to be double sided. So my question is where the 36 headers are laid out on top layer. I wanted to make some through hole pads to supply something to solder to and then put a wire through the board to join up to the top layer.
What is a good way to bring the soldered component from the back to the traces on the top layer?

You can make extra holes a bit away from the connector.

I need to know the footprint you used for answering your question.

Can you send a datasheet link for us of the female headers on your board?

The traces on the backside will get a different net name unless you route them in one sweep picking up on that net name.
