Select mode is the default one. In OpenGL canvas
you can click and drag tracks and vias in this mode but they are not snapping to grid.

It's not snapping to grid in the latest nighty build.

In OpenGL, I can select a track or via and then press M but I cannot drag a track by pressing D. When I move a track in this mode it does snap to the grid, although it will also snap to other entities that happen to be off-grid.
