Pad cratering is a mechanically induced fracture in the resin between copper foil and outermost layer of fiberglass of a printed circuit board (PCB). It may be within the resin or at the resin to fiberglass interface. Do you have ever problems about pcb pads? please talk here.

PADS is a PCB design package developed by Mentor Graphics. It comes in three trim levels (Standard, Standard Plus and Professional), and is considered as a high end commercial grade software package. It has a number of high end features, including signal integrity analysis functions, an advance auto-router, thermal design consideration analysis and support for various project management functions.
