Recently, I am planning to order a two-layer PCB prototype. Actually, I do not want to spend much money on prototype. Frequently, I need to check if the PCB will meet my requirements after manufacturing. So I will only consider large-scale production after confirming it meets all the demand, or it may waste my money. Now I want a PCB prototype to be made as cheap as possible.
This seems a bit hard, but I have to try as I am limited by budget. Thus, I spend much time and energy searching online for cheap PCB prototype. Firstly, I’ve found a website names as customcircuitboards. I like its web design: very clear and brief. However, I can’t get quote until entering my personal information and PCB specification. That is a bit time-consuming, so I quit.
Then I move to oshpark, which is a well-known PCB website. In oshpark, I am surprised to find that the price of PCB is only 5 dollars here! But, no more information can be searched by me except the following one. I’m afraid my project will be delayed since the time to ship is as long as 12 calendar days.
Finally, I lock my eyes on China for more possibilities. Among so many websites, a platform called ALLPCB.com catches my attention. In its home page, I see the message showing only 5$ for 2 layers PCB!
After clicking the picture, I come to an online quote system. Without registration, I can select PCB manufacturers by myself and the PCB price is truly 5 dollars! The lead time here is almost within a week! It seems like that I can get my 2 layer PCB by only affording 5 dollars.
Actually, I am a bit doubt about it. I wonder if anyone has bought PCB prototype from ALLPCB.com before, does it only cost 5 dollars?
