Why we need to panelize the pcb for assembly?
Can you tell me why the assembly house need a extra up in one panel and prefer Routing than V-scoring ?
That one panel needs large number of boards may simply be a requirement of the pick and place machine, which requires a particular panel size, and two pcb's may be wasteful of space.
If you have n-up and tooling strips, assembly house don't have to make carriers for the boards, so it reduces their tooling costs.
